Question 3 GPUs
Look for some PC parts on marketplave to toss into my gaming rig cause I'm poor. when I see a post for 3 RTX 3060s Ventus 3x for $200 each. Dude said he barely used them, but he shows a picture of all three in a single computer case. Why would he have three in a single case? Ps, not the most tech advanced person ever.

Question Mounting my Monitor
Hi guys, the monitor model I'm using is called prism+ x270, I intended to mount my monitor onto a wall however the official shop doesn't sell wall brackets for the monitors, so I checked it's specs (on the website ofc) and saw that it's Vesa 100x100 compatible and bought the corresponding wall brackets, however I did a comparison and the size of the plate of the wall mount is still too big, is there something I'm misunderstanding?

Hardware Benefits of PC Gaming over Console?
Hey Reddit! I own an xbox series s, though im thinking of transitioning to PC Gaming. PC builds are very expensive, and im planning on buying a used pc, but im wondering what the advantages are when compared to console. What are important things xbox cant do, and whats the difference in games? I'd probably still play mostly gamepass games, so I'm wondering in what areas its better and if its worth the long term investment. I play on a 1080p 240hz IPS monitor, and im fine playing on lower graphics for better performance. I play a variety of games such as fps games, racing/driving games, fighting/arena games, timing games (like geometry dash), and some singleplayers like balatro and celeste. Mostly though, i just want to play fun games with my friends, and im buying pc to get higher performance. Please share you're opinions or past experiences, thanks for your time. Oh, also, xbox doesn't have a couple games, so im forced to play on timy phone screen with kbm or a 60hz capped monitor with Desktop mode, thats another reason. But is it worth dropping $700 just for that?

Pretty sure this is the USB-C connector. Pulled too hard and it broke. I need to know if it’s safe to even turn on at all.

Question A stupid question downloading on steam
so actually before this, my download speeds were capped at 75mbps and my disk usage the same. I restarted my router and it shot up to basically 600-800 for both download and disk usage.
The question is, is it really okay for my disk to be at a 100% while downloading right now?

Discussion The Witcher 3 Complete Edition is the best value on Steam right now.
$10 for the next gen update of one of the best games ever made!? And BOTH expansion packs!?
And if you think this game is old and yucky you are wrong. It looks amazing and the ray tracing will put your 5080 through its paces.
If you haven’t played this game you are truly missing out.

Tech Support Why is my Furmark score so low compared to my 9070 XT? Upgraded to 5070 Ti
Managed to upgrade from Nitro+ 9070 XT to 5070 Ti for only 30 USD.
Why is my Furmark (GL)1440p score so low to my now sold 9070 XT? 206 vs 239
My 3D Mark scores seem fine though, are they?
Any idea on what is causing my Furmark score to be so low? Should I just forget about it?
Gigabyte RTX 5070 TI Windforce OC SFF
edit : Turns out this is normal and I was looking at incorrect data.
5070ti avg vs 9070xt avg : 216 vs 239.
My 5070ti is scoring 8fps below avg which I don't think is a problem, right?

Discussion The AI bubble "popping" doesn't mean what you think it does
Even if OpenAi closed tomorrow that wouldn't destroy the AI bubble since Microsoft, Google, Meta and/or any of other 30 massive corporations could just buy their infrastructure and continue with project Stargate. The hardware would still be there and since it doesn't really expire I'td just continue as before, staff and all (especially since they probably already paid a massive down for all the memory allocation in 2026 so the other big players would just cut in line and take that chunk out of those allocated waffers themselves, so Sk Hynix and Samsung would just be double dipping).
No the real endgame isn't that OpenAI runs out of money (on top of the fact that their backers would never let that happen ((Microsft, Soft Bank, Mgx etc.)), but that the AI bubble fizzles out. If AI suddenly becomes useless to rich people too then everyone (OpenAI, Microsoft, and Google) would cancel their orders at once. That is the "bag-holding" scenario that scares memory executives awake at night and that we should all hope for. Not just for Scam Altman to fail

Question Is it a good idea to upgrade gpu now or wait for things to settle down?
With all the stuff going on with AI and RAM prices I was wondering if it's maybe better to upgrade now than to wait and see what happens but I'm not sure. I also saw gamers nexus latest video's where he talked about whats happening with Nvidia and all that. I build my current system in late 2023 and currently my specs are: Ryzen 7600x, Asrock B650 pro rs, 32GB DDR5 Trident Z5 ram, Asus TUF RX 6800 XT. Where I am the prices for the RX 9070 XT is still high but I found a deal on a Red Devil that isn't too expensive so cant decide if its better to buy it now or wait until the bubble pops. Was hoping to get more opinions about it.

Question I have the money to upgrade. Should I go ahead and buy it?
I have the funds to get it right now. But I want to make sure I'm making the right decision. I've had my eyes on this model for a few months now. What does everyone else think?

Meme/Macro Should I buy an RTX 2070S or an RTX 6000 Pro (Blackwell)?
Hi Reddit, throwaway because my dad (44M) follows my main.
So I (17M) am “building my first PC” and I need help deciding between
Option A: RTX 6000 Pro Blackwell (graphic design is my passion and I need it to do Blender)
Option B: Used RTX 2070 Super from my cousin (23M, smells like doritos)
CONTEXT:
- I mostly play Roblox, Minecraft, and Valorant on low settings because competitive advantage (I’m Bronze 1 and likely being held back by my hardware).
- I want to make youtube videos.
- I like generating AI images with sora
- I want to “future proof” because I plan to keep this PC for a while
My budget is flexible: $300 max, but I can stretch it to $14,000 if you guys think it’s worth it.
I have a 1080p 60Hz TN panel monitor but I’m upgrading soon but I’ve been saying this since the Obama administration so who knows x3. I also only have a 450W PSU because it was on sale, but I’m sure adapters exist.
My friends are split:
- Friend A (16M, watched 2 Linus videos) says the RTX 6000 Pro Blackwell is “overkill” for Fortnite.
- Friend B (17M, sigma grindset) says if I don’t buy Blackwell I’ll “regret it forever” and my grandchildren will call me “midrange.”
- My cousin (23M) says the 2070 Super is “basically a 4090” because it has “ray tracing” if you squint.
Important detail: I might start streaming, but only if I instantly get famous without being awkward on mic. Also my room is kind of hot and I don’t have AC, but I can just undervolt.
So Reddit, AITA for asking which GPU to buy? Everyone keeps saying “it depends” but I feel like the answer should be objective, simple, and also validate what I already want.
TL;DR: 17M can’t decide between RTX 6000 Pro Blackwell or used 2070 Super. Needs it for competitive Roblox, occasional AI, and emotional stability. AITA?

Discussion Can I make these green?
I can’t remember the names of the cables, the one that goes into the GPU and the big bunch next to the RAM.
Can I make them RGB (green)? If so, what do I type in so I can shop around?
Thanks!
