Fuck you LG, how expensive is it for you to rotate your power bricks 90°?

Edit: I swear to god if I see one more comment about my hot dog fingers I'm gonna hit someone

Game is running at 1280x960 (DLAA), locked at 85 fps without drops. Monitor is a Samsung Syncmaster 1200NF. Powered by an RTX4090 and 5800x3D. Video colors are unedited, only using ingame Reshade to add some slight VHS noise and chroma smear for that extra CRT oomph.

Hardware I sprung for it! (Costco)

I was trying to hold out for the 60 series era, but with the price of ram and video cards being what they are I made a judgement call. I can always sell it later if prices re-adjust.

Specs: amd 9900x, 5080 gpu, 32gb ddr5 ram, 2 tb m.2

I’ll be adding all my m.2’s from my old build.

Selling my old build to a friend to soften the financial blow. 3080ti, i9 9900, 32gb ddr4, many old and new hard drives of all shapes and sizes lol.

This is my first time in ages that I did not custom build. Built my first pc in 1997 to play Diablo. Feels weird to not build this one. I almost want to swap it into a diff case just to feel better about it. Someone tell me everything is gonna be fine 🥲

My 1080 Ti has shown me incredible stories and taken me to places beyond my wildest dreams—all created by teams of people I’ll never get to thank in person, though I wish I could. Tonight, it finally sleeps the long sleep. They don’t make cards like this anymore. They probably never will. So here’s a little tribute video, of all the moments I got to see.

My kids grandmother owns a thrift store and gets all types of crazy things donated, wether it be from a house clean out or someone losing a storage room etc...so she will get lots of crap, sometimes good. I'm not with my kids mother anymore, it's been a long time. And she texted me a photo of this (knowing I'm into PC gaming) "do you want this three fan thingy for your computer" apparently they have never heard of google.com. Either way. Here is my brand new three fan thingy. =]

Hardware My MX518 is still going strong since 2005 !

Saw a other post about a Logitech mouse still running after a few years, here mine...

It was my first gaming mouse, back in 2005, a few months after buying and building my first gaming PC, sweet memories !

Maybe the best purchase I've ever made.

OG MX518 is unbreakable. I replaced the USB cable many years ago, and... that's all ! It's now my work office mouse.

Hardware Corsair sent me DDR5 Ram Replacement Sticks and the new RAM looks like this?

My 96GB of Ram had one of the sticks not working. So i sent it for a replacement. Today i’ve finally received the new RAM.. and surprise surprise, they DON’T work..

On closer inspection i’ve realised the pins look weird.. the gold contacts are far and few between.

Second image is my DDR5 from work..

Did i get a fake from Corsair? Or did my package get intercepted somehow?

Why do i have bad teeth ram?

EDIT: Thanks to CorsairLucky, who helped me get in contact with a real person, they are now on the case!! Thank you awesome reddit Community! I appreciate all your help explaining what the sticks were, why they were different, and hopefully we'll reach a happy ending soon.

I will keep you all updated

Hardware Girlfriend got me this for my 17th birthday!

Post image

Girlfriend gifted me this as a surprise for my 17th birthday! I'm very grateful for her giving me this especially when I know she worked hard to get me this. I can't add this to my PC yet since I'll need a new mobo and ram but I'm very excited to put this in my PC in the future!

EDIT: For everyone asking if she paid full price, she didn't. Microcenter had it discounted to $440 USD, and she doesn't know much about computers, so she probably just got the most expensive one she saw thinking it's the best. And for anyone wondering, I'm on AM4 with the Ryzen 9 5950x.
